Job Description

Are you an analytical team player with a focus on future energy solutions? At Randstad Finance, we are now looking for a Financial Analyst for a consulting assignment with our client Siemens Energy. Here you will have the opportunity to work in an international environment where innovation and sustainability are at the center.

As a Financial Analyst for energy projects, you play a crucial role in the bidding process. You support the business with sales calculations and financial analyses in close collaboration with technical bidders, engineers, and the sales team. Your focus is on assessing costs, pricing factors, and financial risks to create winning and profitable business proposals. You will be part of the Gas Services division, which focuses on low-emission power generation and decarbonization. Here, experts in gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators work towards modernizing and digitalizing the fleet for a greener future.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Conduct and support sales calculations in consultation with central and regional functions.
  • Manage financial parameters such as taxes, currencies, guarantees, and financing solutions, as well as review contract terms.
  • Actively work with risk management by identifying, quantifying, and minimizing financial risks.
  • Analyze costs and processes to contribute to increased productivity.
  • Drive improvement work and digitalization within Commercial Bid Management.

Responsibilities

This is a consulting assignment via Randstad Finance.

  • Period: 2026-02-02 to 2026-07-31.
  • Opportunities: For the right person, there are very good chances for extension or direct employment with Siemens Energy after the assignment ends.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, takes initiative, and enjoys working in a multicultural environment. To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

  • An academic degree (Bachelor or Master) in economics, finance, or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of experience in controlling, financing, bid management, or project controlling.
  • Good understanding of financial processes and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent IT skills and experience working with digital tools.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written (as you will be working in an international organization).
  • A solution-oriented mindset and the ability to prioritize under time pressure without compromising quality.
